HCP’s educational foundation, the Community Health Care Services Foundation, Inc. (CHC), held the first part of its annual Home Care Forum virtually this year on Wednesday, February 24. The event featured vital information for home care providers presented by HCP’s Public Policy Team and international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP. The event was made possible by our generous sponsor and associate member, AlayaCare.
The first day of the Home Care Forum covered a wide range of current events the industry faces. These topics included updates on the status of the State Budget from HCP’s Public Policy team with a discussion of pressing legislative and regulatory issues, including HCP’s advocacy efforts on the Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP) Request for Offers (RFO), Licensed Home Care Services Agencies (LHCSA) RFO and a review of current COVID-19 vaccine logistics and developments. During a brief break between the substantive sessions of the Forum, our generous Forum sponsor, AlayCare, demonstrated its cloud-based home care software.
Registration is still available for Day Two of the Home Care Forum, taking place on Wednesday, March 3, live via ZOOM. Those that register now will receive a recording of Day One’s valuable presentations. To learn more about this year’s virtual Home Care Forum, and to register, visit www.nyshcp.org/chchomecareforum.
