Face-to-Face Encounter Repeal Sought
Despite efforts to continue the industry-secured delay in the implementation of the Medicare home health physician face-to-face requirement, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has refused to change the April 1, 2011 effective date. HCP, the National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) and other industry statekholders are seeking the delay and/or repeal of the requirement as it is a barrier to care. PECOS Enrollment Requirement Delayed
