HCP's Laura Haight Discusses Minimum Wage Funding on Capital Tonight

On Wednesday, December 14, HCP Vice President for Public Policy Laura Haight was interviewed by Nick Reisman on Time Warner Cable News' Capital Tonight. Haight discussed the minimum wage funding set aside for home care workers, and the ongoing fight to ensure the funds are passed through from Medicaid managed care plans to home care agencies to pay their workers. With just two weeks left before the Statewide increases to the minimum wage go into effect, Haight shared HCP's concerns that time is running out for home care agencies to receive the funding prior to the implementation in order to meet their minimum wage obligations.
